The White Hart Hotel

This one is in the same area as  Duke William and is one of the most interesting hotels in Lincoln. The White Hart is where the cast and crew of The Da Vinci Code stayed. Some of the rooms face Lincoln Cathedral. It was the lodging for Richard II when he visited Lincoln in 1387.

All rooms are en suite and have flat screen TV,direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, and iron. Some rooms have a sitting area or separate lounge. There are two restaurants, The King Richard which is more formal and the more casual Orangery Brassiere. The Club Bar is a relaxing place to have a drink after a long day of site seeing. The Lounge is open 24 hours a day and you can have tea/coffee or a light snack served there.

The hotel is a 14th century building and it is not really good for the disabled. Someone who uses a wheelchair but can still walk short distances would probably be able to manage. There is a small elevator but it is not big enough for a wheelchair. The hotel is constrained in making changes to the structure by laws requiring the preservation of the historic building.

Parking is in a garage across the street and is accessable only to hotel patrons.
