Below is a list of events in Lincolnshire for the autumn of 2007 and winter 2008.
This year the Lincolnshire Taste Fair will be called the Lincolnshire Christmas Food and Drink Fair at the Lincolnshire Showground. It will have 100 stalls displaying and selling British produce with the spotlight on crops grown in Lincolnshire. There will be cooking demonstrations, wine tasting presentations, arts and crafts demonstrations and live music to go along with them.
You can get some of your Christmas shopping done early at the shopping stalls. The fair will be Saturday and Sunday, November 17th and 18th. Hours are: Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is £5. Admission is free for children under 16.

Scunthorpe Christmas Ligts Switch On will be Thursday, 29 November at 5:30 pm. The Continental Market will be in the High Street. Hours: 9 am to 8 pm.
Brigg Brigg will hold its Christmas Fayre on Friday, 30 November. The Christmas lights will be switched on and there is a craft market, and entertainment.
Cherry Willingham will hold its Christmas Fair on 27 November at St. Paul's Church Hall. It begins at 1 pm.

There are several Christmas events at Normanby Hall Country Park this year. If you need more information than I have given here phone 01724 720588.
The first three weekends in December, you can visit Santa's Grotto. Santa will be there giving out presents from 12 pm to 3 pm. The miniature railway will be running from 1 pm to 3 pm. £6 per child. Be sure children are dressed warm.
Normanby Hall will be open afternoons Monday through Friday in December. The Hall is decorated for Christmas and you can buy Christmas decorations and greenery. Open times: 1 pm to 3 pm.

On Saturday, 1 December Winterton will be having its annual Christmas Fayre in the Butchers Arms car park. Santa's sleigh will be there plus gift stalls, home-made produce, and entertainment. Admission is free.
Also on Saturday, 1 December Kirton in Lindsey will switch on its Christmas lights at 6 pm. There will be hot food, Father Christmas, and carol singing.
In Ashby St. Mark's Church will have their Festival of Christmas Trees the first two weekends in December. Fifty decorated trees will be on display along with musical entertainment. Doors open at 10:30 am
The National Trust Christmas Events in Lincolnshire
On Saturday and Sunday, 17 and 18 of November, Belton House will hold its Christmas Craft Fayre. It opens at 11 am and closes at 4 pm each day. Normal grounds admission.
You can see Belton House decorated for Christmas the first two weekends of December. Father Christmas will be there. There is a £3.50 charge for a child to meet him and he will be giving a present. Entry charges for National Trust Members is free. For
non-members the entry charge is £3.50 for adults and £2.00 per child.
On Saturday, 8 December you can enjoy Christmas Carols in the Marble Hall. It begins at 6:30 pm and minced pies and mulled wine will be served. Charge £7.50.
The Stables Restaurant will be serving Christmas Lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the second and third week of December from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Christmas festivities begin with Christmas Concerts given by the Banovallum Singers. Admission is £7. Make reservations by telephoning (01526) 566116 you can see Tattershall Castle decorated for Christmas Saturday and Sunday, the first three weekends of December. The doors open at 12 pm and close at 4 pm. Normal addmission applies.
On Saturday, 15 December Holy Trinity Church and the Salvation Army will present Christmas Carols at 5 pm. Admission is £7.50. Make reservations by telephoning (01526) 342543.

On 30 November to 2nd December Spalding will have its Continental Market in the Market Place.
A Charity Christmas Fair will be held on 10 November in Boston at Boston Centenary Methodist Church Hall, Red Lion Street, Boston from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Admission is free.
St. Boltophs in Boston has a full schedule of carol services during December.

Beginning on Sunday, 2nd December and continuing through December, Santa will be taking children on a Water Taxi Cruise on the Rive Welland in Spalding. Each child will be given a gift with his/her name on it. It is imperative that you make a booking for this event. To do so phone 01406 380532.
